Pierre Jost - vase h19
Rare art-deco ceramic baluster vase with 4 hand-painted red & yellow stylized flowers and black leaves with brown-colored line-off , produced by the atelier Pierre Jost .
The artistic art-deco type motifs were created by the painter Van den Broeck.
There are only a few ceramic vases marked CÉRAM and signed P. Jost on the base. Owing to the small number of these vases, Jost certainly did not manufacture them but bought them without any decoration to have them painted in his workshops.
